Established in 2022, my passion is to produce healthy, well socialized mice with excellent temperament raised with ethical breeding practices and science based husbandry.

Dumbo
The dumbo line focuses on the dumbo ear type, a structural trait affecting ear placement and skull shape.
This project is currently under study and development, with emphasis on health, structure, and long term stability.
Dumbo mice are not available to the public at this time while research and evaluation are ongoing.
Sable
The sable line in this mousery does not represent traditional sable (dominant yellow with tan). Instead, these mice are recessive yellow based with expression of the umbrous gene, creating deeper shading and a more muted, complex tone.
My focus is on developing consistent color depth, clarity, and overall health while continuing to study and refine this expression.
Splash
The Splash Line focuses on bold, high-contrast c dilute patterning paired with rich base colors. I selectively breed for clean markings, healthy structure, and sweet, confident temperaments. These mice are raised with ethical husbandry and careful tracking to support both beauty and long-term wellness.
Angora
The Angora Line features the long-haired (Fgf5 angora) coat type, emphasizing soft texture, whimsical looks, and a calm, friendly temperament. My goal is to produce healthy, well-maintained angora coats without compromising overall welfare. These mice are socialized from a young age and raised with detailed observation to support comfort and quality of life.
Please note: We are limited on the angora variety at this time.
Extreme black
The X-Black Line is dedicated to producing deep, sleek, high-quality black coats with strong pigment and minimal molting. This line is built around careful selection for coat clarity, body type, and strong temperament. My focus is on maintaining that “ink-black” look while keeping genetic diversity and health at the center of every pairing.

Hi! My name is Indigo Hart, and I’m a fancy mouse breeder with a passion for mouse genetics, husbandry, and science-based care. With nearly five years of hands-on experience, I focus on producing healthy, well socialized mice and continually improving my lines through ethical, intentional breeding.
I’m especially interested in how genetics influence not only coat color and texture, but also behavior and temperament. In my free time, I enjoy photography, art, and yoga. This website is where I share my knowledge and experience with others who love mice, and where you can connect with me as a fellow breeder or potential pet home placement.
